• Trim the stems. Cut about 1 inch off each stem at an angle before placing in water. Fresh cut, better drink.
• Fresh water, every 2 days. Change the water and give the stems a fresh trim each time. Cloudy water is bloom kryptonite.
• Remove the lower leaves. Any leaves sitting below the waterline should come off. They rot fast and cloud the vase.
• Keep it cool. Away from direct sun, heaters, and fruit bowls (fruit releases gas that ages flowers faster).
• A cool room at night helps blooms last longer. Your flowers appreciate air conditioning too.
